Account information: your email address, display name, account identifier, and the sign-in methods connected to your account. Apple and Google handle their own credentials; Roster Byte does not receive your Apple or Google password.
Fantasy and listening information: teams and players you choose or import, followed players, podcast-source preferences, saved clips, queues, playback progress, and listening history.
Technical information: app version, platform, request timing, and limited security or error information needed to operate and protect the service. Hosting providers may temporarily process IP addresses and request metadata in their logs.
To find and fix crashes, Roster Byte may send Sentry the crash type, code and stack location, app version, device model, and operating-system version. It does not send authentication tokens, email addresses, account or user IDs, roster or player data, visited URLs or search text, provider responses, transcripts, or quotes.
How the information is used
Roster Byte uses this information to authenticate you, personalize clips around your players and teams, preserve your listening state, provide account support, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
Roster Byte does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising.
Services Roster Byte relies on
Supabase provides account authentication and database services. Vercel provides application hosting and server functions. Sentry provides privacy-limited crash reporting. Apple and Google provide optional sign-in. Sleeper and Yahoo provide optional fantasy-roster connections when you ask Roster Byte to use them.
Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Roster Byte sends only the information needed for the feature you choose.
Retention and deletion
Account and personalization data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account in YOU → Account & Sign-in → Delete account, or at rosterbyte.com/delete-account.
Deletion removes your account, linked sign-in identities, rosters, follows, preferences, saved clips, queues, progress, and listening history. Shared podcast catalog information is not tied to your account and remains available to other listeners. Limited security logs or records required by law may remain for their normal retention period.
Your choices
You can change your name, email, password, connected sign-in methods, roster connections, podcast sources, and saved listening inside the app. You may also ask for access, correction, or deletion by contacting the address below.
Security and children
Roster Byte uses encrypted connections, platform-protected credential storage on mobile, access controls, and account-isolated database rules. No online service can promise absolute security.
Roster Byte is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
